Mercedes C63 AMG

The brand new Mercedes C63 AMG is a completely new model. It will have a tough challenge beating its opponents, a BMW M3 and Audi RS4. The biggest modification is its engine. As many manufacturers, it has a smaller engine, but with turbocharger. It is 4L, V8 producing 469 BHP and 650 Nm of torque. This massive amount of torque is available from 1.700 rpm to 4.500 rpm. This will provide you 0-60 mph time in 4.1 seconds. If we considered that C63 AMG is a saloon, this is a serious achievement! Mercedes will make a C63 AMG S. It will have 34 hp more than standard model. Gearbox is double-clutch 7 speed automatic, but it has paddles shifter behind the steering wheel.

As usual, top speed is limited to 155 mph (250km/h). The customer can remove the limitation by specifying the AMG Driver’s Package, which will increase top speed up to 180mph. Beside all this power it is practical. You can choose saloon or estate version with luggage space of 435 liters for the saloon and 1510 liters for estate version. It is very comfortable, unless you select race settings, in which case it becomes a track car. It has active dampers, which could be controlled from the cabin. ESP is very useful, but, turning it off will make this car a real beast!

The good sides of new C63 AMG are its noise, which is outstanding, performance and handling. Finally, AMG made a chassis that can provide you excellent handling. Earlier models always were too hard for handling! There are several drawbacks. The biggest drawback with this car is its price. It is from £59,795 to £74,700, which is too much, especially when the interior and looks of the car are ‘’ordinary’’.
