New Genio Facelift: Mahindra Aiming High

In recent past, the Indian car Maker Mahindra has done a good business in the domestic market as well as in the overseas market. Keeping in mind about the demand for pickups in the overseas country, the company is more focused on such vehicles.

Now the company is manufacturing new pickups termed as Genio, which will be derived from Scorpio and will be in the form of single cab or dual cab. And this pickup design is done thinking about the off-road trips. This Xylo based vehicle is expected to be eye-catching and will be a stylish one and may enter the market by the end of this year. And it has already launched the new facelift version in Australia.

It will be a perfect combo of luxury as well as functionality. You can mark them from its newly added features which include glove box, mobile charging facility, wallet case added to dashboard, bottle holder along with a coin holder to put coins. Besides, cruise control, ABS, dual front airbags and DDAS version of information display are the features added to this new facelift. The exterior design will be pretty similar to that of the Canto. The interior also now been revived to have a car like comfort. The mHawk type powertrain will be added with the 5-speed manual transmission. The addition of AMT may also be possible though not confirmed yet. This may get a 4x4 or 4x2 type drive system with LSPV brakes facility and SLR seat belts.
