Tip #1: Lock the car doors- This is one amongst the easiest way to keep your car safe. But a lot of people forget to do this. Every time you park your car, remember to roll up all the windows and to lock the doors even if it is parked in your own driveway.

Tip #2: Use Garage Facility if Possible- It’s always better to keep your car in garage. If you have a garage at your home, you should use it as it is way more secure than keeping in your driveway.

Tip #3: Don’t buy a car that’s easily targeted- Some cars that are stolen will be because of the style or design. If it’s unique, your car is more likely to be stolen. Luxury cars, sports cars are always at high risk of being stolen.

Tip #4: Carry the keys with you- Some people in a hurry forget to remove the key from the ignition. Keeping your key at the ignition makes it the easiest target.

Tip #5: Take care of valuable: Avoid keeping your valuables at plain view. Leaving things like your purse, your phone, laptops make it more tempting for a thief to steal. If you do have those, try keeping it in the trunk.

Tip #6: Don’t leave a running car unattended. Sometimes we tend to keep the car running when we make a run to the coffee shop or the ATM. This makes the car an easy target. Thieves always keep a lookout for situation like these which makes their work easier and hassle free.
